For maximum speed and minimum confusion, please follow the following steps in the following order to create your first character here:
Step 1: Read the rules, theme, and everything else you see in this part of the forum.
Step 2: Register for a new account in the forum.
Step 3: Start filling out a new character application, found in the Create a Character forum, being sure to read all instructions.
Step 4: If desired, post the partially completed application in the Create a Character forum - it's a safe place to store it while you're working on it, and staff members or other players may post replies with advice, tips, opinions, etc. that may help you.
Step 5: When you think it's perfect (or close enough), mark it finished, and wait for it to be processed.
Step 6: While you're waiting, you might as well check to make sure you the display name on your profile is your character's name, find an avatar, and otherwise get your account profile set up perfectly. You may also pop into the OOC Area and introduce yourself.
Step 7: Either your character will be approved and you'll be free to start roleplaying, or the staff member reviewing your application will explain what you need to change.
